European roulette: coverage changes the payout

Play'n GO’s European Roulette Pro explains a single-zero wheel with 37 pockets: numbers 1–36 and one green zero. A straight-up bet covers one number; a split covers two adjacent numbers, a street covers three, a corner covers four and a line covers six. Outside bets cover larger groups, such as red or black, odd or even, and low 1–18 or high 19–36.

Green zero belongs to none of those even-chance groups. For example, a red bet covers 18 of 37 pockets, while a straight-up bet on 17 covers only one. The larger group wins on more wheel outcomes but has a smaller stated payout. Seventeen is black and eighteen is red; previous spins do not alter those colours or predict the next result. The rules also describe neighbour, special, favourite and preset betting arrangements.

Limbo: choose a target, then compare the result

In a Limbo format, the player selects a stake and target multiplier before a generated multiplier is revealed. The central decision is whether the generated result satisfies the selected target. A higher displayed target can produce a larger potential return when reached, but it should not be interpreted as improving the expected return or making a win more likely.

For a hypothetical calculation, a 5-unit stake at a selected 3.00× target would produce a 15-unit gross return if the rule’s winning comparison is met: 5 × 3.00 = 15. The net gain would be 10 after subtracting the original stake. If the target is not met, the 5-unit stake is lost. A target selected before generation is distinct from cashing out during a rising crash-style round.

Sports returns and settlement are separate questions

Odds calculate the potential financial result, while the market definition decides whether the selection won. A tennis match winner and a set winner can settle differently. In cricket, a match market and a player-total market measure different outcomes. Always identify the named participant or team, the measured event and the period covered before calculating the return.

Track the whole session, not isolated wins

Record opening balance, total stakes, total returns and closing balance separately. If five 4-unit rounds create 20 units of stakes and return 13 units in total, the session result on those rounds is a 7-unit loss, even if two rounds were winners. Counting only winning rounds hides the cost of all paid attempts. Mobile access does not change this accounting: verify the selected market, stake and target on the final confirmation screen.
